Every portrait begins quietly — a faint outline, a few soft marks to find the shape of a much-loved face.
This short film follows Charlie's portrait from those very first strokes through to the final highlights in his eyes, layer after layer of soft pastel gently built up and blended by hand.
It takes quite a few hours at the easel to capture the character of your pet. I hope this little film shows something of how your pet emerges from start to finish.
